Farewell Of Thubtenling First year and second year students of Thubtenling Hostel and Degree Hostel 1 in Sherubtse College, Kanglung bids farewell to the third year students on 14 th May, 2017. Final year students of Degree Hostel 7 and Degree Hostel 8 were given farewell by the first year and second year students last Saturday. In the morning of May 14th, 2017 first years and second year residents of Thubtenling and DH 1 started their preparation for the big event. It was solely to make their stay a memorable one and to wish them luck for their future. The program started at 7:30 Pm with a prayer followed by delivering a few encouraging messages by the provost and the councilor of the hostel. After the speech, all the third years were given Kha Dhar (scarf).Tandin Wangchuk, a first year student who is taking EVS of Thubtenling said that this event is not just a trend that had been prevailing for many years in the College but it is to show their love towards the outgoing stude
